The in-situ installation "Angle of view" is based on the events that took place in Gdansk in 1980. The work is a continuation of the video " They almost missed it", which I made during a residency in Gdansk, Poland.
It examines the impact of the events on the personal lives of a Polish family who moved to Belgium because of Solidarnosc. After a stay in Poland of 3 months I was curious about the Polish people living in Belgium.
As a result of the facts of 1980, we are able to move more freely within Europe, walls were broken off, doors and borders were opened.
